Chair With Headrest

About Freedom Headrest With innovative recline that provides constant support and a pivoting backrest that automatically adjusts to the needs of the spine, the Freedom chair is exceptionally comfortable and promotes movement throughout the day. Its refined and sculpted cushions were designed to mimic the body’s natural contours and decrease pressure point loads for premium comfort. Like all Humanscale chairs, the Freedom chair was designed to look and function like new after years of consistent use. Articulating Headrest The Freedom chair features a dynamic, articulating headrest to support the head and neck as users recline. It moves with the sitter, so they can change postures without making manual adjustments and stay comfortable in any position. Self Adjusting Recline Freedom eliminates the need for traditional recline mechanisms, which can be bulky and weigh up to 15 pounds. Instead, Freedom uses the sitter’s body weight and the laws of physics to perfectly and automatically adjust recline support for each individual. Synchronous Armrests Freedom's body-friendly armrests move up and down together, staying with the user during recline for continuous comfort and support. Unlike other chair designs, Freedom's armrests are attached to the back of the chair to ensure synchronous use.

Comments about BJs Wholesale Club Executive Mesh Chair with Headrest:I bought this yesterday after having seen it assembled in BJs. I was hesitant having never had a mesh chair before. But, I had to get rid of my “leather?” executive chair bec of the “leather” peeling all over the house. The instruction were so well-done, even the bolts are identified by letter. Super easy to assemble. Once I adjusted the headrest higher with the wrench, it’s amazingly comfortable to lay my head back. I can feel the mesh lumbar support helping my back. Arm cushions are very nice, and it’s a real plus being able to raise them. The whole chair looks so modern and stylish. I give this a 10.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friendWas this review helpful? Yes / No – You may also flag this review

Comments about BJs Wholesale Club Executive Mesh Chair with Headrest:The chair has great lower lumbar support and I like the headrest when you need to give your neck a break. Also really like that you can fold up the arms. However, I’ve now had the chair for 6 months and am noticing a bruised behind. And I have plenty of “cushion”. I couldn’t pin point what it was at first, then noticed the pain would go away on the weekends at home, then would really hurt on Mondays back at work. I think this would be a perfect desk chair for home where you aren’t necessarily sitting in it all day, but for work a cushioned seat would be best. I’m now having to use a pillow to sit on which moves me up and makes he lumbar support in the back not be where it should be. Just something to keep in mind if planning to use everyday for 8 hours or more a day.Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friendWas this review helpful? I suffer from lower back pain and have worked my way through many chairs — the kneeling chair, the exercise ball chair, a mesh super adjustable “techy” chair. It wasn’t until I bought the humanscale freedom headrest chair that I found a chair I could use all day long.

It's sturdy, was easy to put together, and is comfortable enough. It wasn't quite what I was looking for, but it's close enough. Y'see, I'm tall. Now, plenty of six feet people can use a chair like this and be comfortable from what I've read of descriptions, but I guess I have more height than most people proportioned above the waist? Because the industry standard for highback chairs is 26″ between the seat and the top of the headrest. To reach the top of my head it needs to be 36″. It took me a couple weeks of searching to find one that looked like it may come closer to working, and this one does goes further than that 26″ standard.. but falls around three or four inches short. It's close, very close, close enough to be better than your standard highback chair that cuts off at the base of my neck, but not close enough to be perfectly comfortable. I still find myself fidgeting a bit from time to time, but at least it's not screwing up my lower back anymore. I guess if I had to summarize.. there's nothing wrong with the chair itself, it's a perfectly serviceable office chair, seems standard for the given price, but it looks like if I ever want something that is perfect for me.. I'll have to splurge for something custom, 'cause that 26″ is how tall recliners and lounges get as well.
