This is a nice little chair for those who are not very large and/or for teens. It was pretty simple to put together, which is saying a lot as I'm a 73-year-old crippled great-grandmother. Ha! The chair itself is okay if you're not going to spend hours and hours in it. The padding on the seat and back is sufficient for short bursts at the desk or computer but probably not for long sessions. The seat is too small for anyone who is very large to sit in. I measure around 37″ in the hips and it is just perfect for me. More than 3 or 4 inches wider would probably be uncomfortable. The wheels turn very easily so it would be prudent to be very careful when sitting down or getting up from the chair as it will slide right out from under you. I haven't checked to see if there's a locking mechanism on the wheel(s) yet but will do so shortly. Right now the armrests are a bit wobbly but I'm sure that's just because I couldn't tighten the screws down enough. I will ask my brother to do that for me the next time he's out here. So. Would I recommend this chair? Yes, to someone who is on the slender side or to teen-agers or children. I believe it is a good chair for the price.

Love the wheels and swivel and having arms-especially after having had to use an old kitchen chair at the desk for so long. It is a little on the small side though, but comfy enough for long computer sessions. Plus it is constructed so the back panel is a bit springy. I like to stretch sometimes during a long session and it gives nicely, but is still good support. The assembly instructions are a bit minimal on a heiroglyphic level. So if its your first time putting a chair together you may want some more experienced advice as back up.
